Obituary for Sandra K. Goodwin
Sandra K. Goodwin 61 of Pekin passed away on Tuesday June 16, 2009 at her residence. Born in Washington on March 16, 1948 to James and Deloris Eckstien Wilson and was raised by her maternal grandparents Matilda and Peter Eckstien. She married Robert L. Goodwin on June 20, 1994, he survives along with her son John (Suzy) Hedrick of Pekin, brothers; James, Allen, Curtis and Larry, sisters; Bonnie, Donna, Valerie, Alicia, Alice, Terri, Tina and Vicky, 9 grandchildren and her 6 great grandchildren. Her parents, sisters; Susan and Frances and her son Philip Hedrick in 1989 preceded her in death. Sandra was a former waitress at the Normandy Club and Pekin Hospital as well as a Homemaker, was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the V.F.W Post 1232 and was of the Christian Faith. Cremation has been accorded and no services will be held. Arrangements have been entrusted to Abts Mortuary.
