Salvador Guardado Navarro, 72, of Peoria passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born on November 28, 1952, in Michoacán, Mexico to Elpidio and Carmen Guardado Navarro. His parents; one brother and two sisters preceded him in death.
Salvador married Socorro Contreras on September 13, 1975; she survives. He is also survived by his children, Salvador Navarro Jr., Yazmin (Hugo) Garcia, Danae K. (Hugo) Urquizo-Navarro; grandchildren, Cesar, Analy, Miguel, Favian, Hugo, Kimberly; siblings, Carmen Navarro, Ester Navarro, Roberto Navarro and many nieces and nephews.
He loved his family and playing with his grandchildren. He enjoyed going out with his wife, Socorro and watching soccer.
Cremation has been accorded and a private celebration of life will be held.
