Obituary for Sabrina (Erdmann) McCord
Sabrina (Erdmann) McCord passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at UnityPoint Health Methodist after a four-year battle with metastatic breast cancer.
She was born on April 29, 1983, in Boblingen, Germany to Axel and Manuela Erdmann.
Sabrina married Nikki Lee McCord on May 2, 2007, in Kitzingen, Germany. They moved to Morton, Illinois in 2014 and later to East Peoria.
Sabrina is survived by her husband, Nik McCord and their dogs, Loki, and Thor of East Peoria; father, Axel Erdmann and stepmother, Beverly Erdmann of Albstadt, Germany; sister, Yvonne Erdmann of Germany as well as her maternal grandfather, Max Schober of Hausen, Germany.
She was predeceased by her mother as well as her paternal grandparents and maternal grandmother, Renata Schober and uncle, Bernhard Schober.
There will be no services or visitation. It was Sabrina’s wish that she be cremated, and her ashes returned to Germany for burial.
