Obituary for Ruth Dunn
Ruth Dunn, 83, of Canton passed away Saturday December 3, 2011 at Sunset Rehabilitation & Health Care in Canton. She was born April 16, 1928 in Macomb, IL to Niomi Steel. She was preceded in death by her mother, Niomi Wares in 1971; son, Edward Eugene Dunn in 1958 and brothers, Robert Neidig and Ralph Self. She is survived by her sons, David Levi Neidig of Canton, Ralph Leno Dunn of Canton; grandsons, David Edward Neidig of Canton, Timothy Lee Neidig of Vermont, IL; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Marilyn Ward of Farmington, Dorthy Tolles of Rushville, Sharon Balmer of Galesburg; brother, Oren Neidig of Norfolk, VA and sister-in-law, Kathy Neidig of Canton. Ruth worked at Graham Hospital for 15 years in housekeeping. Cremation has been accorded and a Graveside Service will be held Tuesday December 13, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery in Canton. Rev. Dr. Ken Churchill will officiate.
