Obituary for Russell James Cain
Russell James Cain, 73, of Canton passed away Saturday, November 9, 2024, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born January 4, 1951, in Springfield to Albert and Jesse Burns Cain. He married Linda Joyce Fluder on December 14, 1973; she preceded him in death January 2, 2016. His parents also preceded him in death.
He is survived by his children, Jenny (Jared) Ginglen, Tim (Angela) Cain, Kathryn Cain, Nicole Cain; grandchildren, Andrew Cain, Blake Brown, Skyler Brown, Ashley (Jackson) Sanders, Addison Ginglen, Anna Kenser, Dalanie Cain, Avery Ginglen, Ali Cain and great-grandchildren, Beckett Sanders and Anakin-Aare Brown.
Russell worked for BlackHawk Industrial, retiring in 2016.
He loved supporting his grandchildren in their sporting events. He was an avid bowler and fisherman.
Cremation has been accorded and private family services were held.
