Obituary for Rosemary Faught
Rosemary Faught, 81, of Pekin passed away Sunday February 5, 2012 at Pekin Manor. She was born April 9, 1930 in Thackery, IL to Clarence and Carrie Higginson Harrison. She is survived by her children, Debbie (Al) Chavez of Peoria, David (Toni) Faught of Pekin; sisters, Wilma Harrison of Dahlgren, Pauline Kennedy of Dahlgren; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Donald Faught; granddaughter, Janessa Faught; and sisters, Juanita Hunter and Monda Harrison. Rosemary worked for over 15 years in Medical Records at Methodist Medical Center, she was a secretary at Carver Clinic and last worked at Heartland Community Clinic retiring in 2009. An accomplished pianist, Rosemary enjoyed knitting and her weekends with friends. However, her greatest joy was time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she loved immensely. She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria where the service will be held Wednesday February 8, 2012 at 11 a.m. with a visitation one hour prior at the church. A luncheon will follow the service. A private graveside service will be held at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin at a later date. Cremation has been accorded. Memorials may be made to the church in her name.
