Obituary for Ronald Bohler
Ronald F. Bohler 74, of Canton passed away Friday October 14, 2011 at Graham Hospital in Canton. He was born October 28, 1936 in Canton to Otto and Emma Ellis Bohler. He married Nancy Lawver December 30, 1968 in Canton. She preceded him in death November 26, 2002. He was also preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his daughter, Neisha Bohler of Bartonville, grandson, Zachery Schwindenhammer of Bartonville, two sisters, Carolyn West of Canton, Kathy Hay of Gilbert, AZ, two brothers, Bob (Grace) Bohler of Canton, Don Bohler of Canton, brother-in-law, David (Jill) Lawver of Lewiston and several nieces and nephews. Ronald worked for Butler Manufacturing in Galesburg for 43 years. He was an avid golfer and card player. He was a member of the Canton Country Club and Elks for many years. He loved spending time with his grandson Zack. He was the protector for all of his family and friends. Memorial donations may be made to Zack Schwindenhammer at Mid America National Bank in Canton. Cremation has been accorded and a graveside service will be held Friday October 21, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Canton at 11 am. There will be a Celebration of Life luncheon following the service at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Canton.
