Obituary for Ronald Binkley
Ronald L. Binkley 56, of Washington passed away Saturday July 23, 2011 in Roanoke, IL. He was born June 14, 1955 in Decatur, IL to Walter and Nancy Sharrock Binkley. He was preceded in death by his father and sister; Karen S. Peters. He is survived by his 4 sons; Chad, Nathon, Shannon, Shane, 1 grandson of Peoria, IL, 2 granddaughters of Texas, his mother; Nancy Binkley of Washington, IL, sisters; Debbie Johnson of Roanoke, IL, Sharrie Heppe of Washington, IL, brothers; Dennis Binkley of Washington, IL, Jack Binkley of Creve Coeur, IL, and Brian Binkley of Creve Coeur, IL. Ron was a good friend to many. He was very much like his father in that he was skilled in many areas and that he was well liked by everyone. During his life he was a welder, put glass in high rise buildings, a painter and did home repair. From his years in Texas he was a Cowboys fan and enjoyed NASCAR. He also enjoyed country music and played harmonica and guitar, getting together to play music with his friends. He was also very good at pool and enjoyed the game whether he won or lost. Ron also loved animals, horses and dogs were his favorites. His family and friends will miss his fun loving and easy going personality. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to your local animal shelter. Cremation has been accorded and a Celebration of Life will be held Saturday July 30, 2011 at the VVI/The Bunker 100 W Bittersweet Rd, Sunnyland, IL, from 2 to 5 pm.
