Obituary for Roger Dale Giles
Roger Dale Giles, 62, of Washington, passed away on Mar. 16, 2021.
He was surrounded by his family, when he left his earthly body. He was born in Pekin, IL to Joyce (Donelson) Vincent and George (Joe) Giles. He attended Pekin High School, his hobbies included playing the drums, taking cruises on his motorcycle, and was an avid pool player competing in pool tournaments, with his wife Julie. He was a lifelong mechanic and loved to work on cars. Later in his life, he was a store manager at Advance Auto.
Roger is survived by his wife Julie, three children, Cody Klein of Effingham, IL, Jessica Klein of Batavia, IL, and Katelyn Klein of Washington, IL, his best friend and sister Jo Ann (Brian) Mathews of Thorntown, IN, two nieces and 4 great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Patricia; and great nephew, Scotty.
A celebration of his life will be held in the future.
