Obituary for Robert W. Miller
Robert W. Miller, 71, of Morton passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.
He was born March 7, 1950, in Peoria to William N. and Elsie Raymer Miller. His parents and brother, Jerry Miller preceded him in death.
He married Sharon Fisk February 29, 1976; she survives. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Chuck Fisk and family, Adam, Alissa and one great-nephew; sister-in-law, Georgia (Gale) Parker and family, Natasha, Elizabeth, Amanda, Dallas, Bryan, one great-nephew and one great-niece.
Robert graduated from Morton High School in 1968. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard from 1968-1972. Robert worked as a painter until retiring in 2012.
He loved to fish, hunt, camp and ride his motorcycle. He was a member of the Morton Fire Department for 44 years. He loved being with his family and friends.
Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Morton Fire Department in his name.
