Obituary for Robert Sweet
Robert William Sweet, 58, of Creve Coeur passed away Saturday, April 18, 2020 at his residence.
He was born November 3, 1961 in Chicago to William and Mary Hawkins Sweet.
He married Susan E. Taylor March 29, 1980 in Peoria; she survives. He is also survived by his children, Stephanie (Kyle Chipman) Sweet, Bobby Sweet, Mark (Amanda Courtney) Sweet; granddaughter, Hayleigh Sweet; great-granddaughter, Averie Sweet; four sisters; two brothers and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one infant son.
Robert worked as a baker for Ron’s Donuts & Bakery until retiring in 2019. He loved working at the bakery, his cigarettes, Pepsi, chocolate, soap operas, Mr. Wiggles, partying, Rock & Roll and his friend Rockin Robbin. Most of all he loved his family.
Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
