Obituary for Robert O'Neil Scobee
Robert O’Neil Scobee, 89, of Glasford passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at his residence.
He was born June 8, 1934, in Perry, MO to Adolphus and Irene Horton Scobee.
He married Nancy Hoffman; she preceded him in death. His parents; granddaughter, Brady Hamby; son, Lee Scobee and sisters Doris and Jane also preceded him in death.
He is survived by his children, Steven (Kathy) Scobee, Brian (Tina) Scobee, Emily (Chad) Nordstrom, Amy (Alan) Moore; stepdaughter, Jeanetta (Tony) Chears; grandchildren, Maggie Scobee, Steven Scobee, Emma Scobee, Daniell Scobee, Jessica Scobee, Steven Wooden, Shane Wooden, Justin Peterson, Kelly Hamby, Viola Chears, Austin Chears and seven great-grandchildren.
Robert served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and worked for Caterpillar retiring in 1987.
He loved his family and was a devoted Jehovah Witness. He enjoyed eating out at diners, walking and he loved his dogs.
Cremation has been accorded and private family services will be held.
