Obituary for Robert Lee Myers
Robert Lee “Bullhead” Myers, 61, of East Peoria passed away on Thursday October 15, 2009 at the home of his brother. Born on August 23, 1948 to Francis and Dorothy West Myers Sr. in Peoria. He is survived by his brothers: Bill (Paula) Myers Jr., Tim (Billie), Joe and Michael all of East Peoria, sister Deb Halverson of East Peoria, several nieces and nephews and his favorite cat “Skippy”. His parents preceded him in death. Robert graduated from Metamora High School and served in Germany with the U.S. Army. He worked for Caterpillar at the Mossville Plant and was a member in good standing of the U.A.W. local 974. Cremation will be accorded and private services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society. The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. Pekin/Peoria is assisting the family with arrangements.
