Obituary for Robert A Parrett
Robert A. Parrett 93, of Peoria passed away on Sunday November 23, 2008 at Proctor Hospital in Peoria. Born in Wilkie Saskatchewan, Canada on April 23, 1915 to Edgar and Alice Biesel Parrett. He married Elaine Lindsay in Peoria on August 15, 1953, she survives along with his children; Kim (Janie) Parrett of North Carolina, Nanette Parrett and Mary (Ron) Cox both of Peoria and his nine grand and fourteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his ten brothers and sisters. Robert worked as a Mill Worker for Wahlfeld for 45 years, retiring in 1980. He was a avid Bowler and active in Cardiac Rehab at Proctor Hospital. Cremation has been accorded and no services will be held. Memorials may be made in his name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105. The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. is assisting the family with arrangements.
