Ricky M. Stambach Sr., 60, of Peoria passed away Thursday, March 18, 2021 at UnityPoint Health Methodist in Peoria.
He was born September 1, 1960 in Peoria to Walter M. and Donna Jean Brinker Stambach.
He married Joan M. Ross September 29, 1986 in Peoria; she survives. He is also survived by his children, John (Veronica) Miller-Ross, Ricky Stambach Jr., Daniel Stambach; granddaughter, Autumn Kalani Miller-Ross and sisters, Penny Peterson, and Nicole Peterson.
His parents and sisters, Shelly Doan, Sharon Stambach and Karen Stambach preceded him in death.
Ricky was a big joker and enjoyed making others laugh. He loved spending time with his family and friends, listening to music, a cold beer, watching TV, playing games and cooking on the grill with his son, Daniel. Ricky was a die-hard St. Louis Cardinals fan, Chicago Bears fan and LA Lakers fan.
Cremation has been accorded and a private celebration of life will be held.
