Obituary for Richard Lee Joyce
Richard Lee Joyce, 73, of Pekin passed away Monday, March 11, 2024, at Timbercreek Rehab & Health Care in Pekin.
He was born April 14, 1950, in Kewanee to Bernard and Mary Simpson Joyce. His parents; brother, Bernard Leon Joyce; sister, Sharon McLean; brother-in-law, Larry Henderson; nieces, Joyce Swartz, Blake Earp and nephew, Stephen Joyce preceded him in death.
He is survived by his siblings, Linda Henderson, Brenda (Gene) Sitarz, Mary (Tim) Stull, Jeanette (John) Studyvin and many nieces and nephews.
Richard loved going to the rodeo, fishing, and picking on his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed helping on the farm and he loved country music including Elvis.
Cremation has been accorded and no services will be held.
