Richard Lash, 66, of Pekin passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2022, in Manito.
He was born April 29, 1956, in Pekin to James M. and Virginia Jarrett Lash, Sr. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Lash, James M. Lash Jr. and grandson, Matthew Bradley Lash.
He married Cathy Alliss, she survives. He is also survived by his sons, Richard B. (Crystle) Lash, Forrest “Chris” (Melissa) Lash; daughters, April Kruzan, Kelly Wicker, Sondra Wyant, Elizabeth Brown; fifteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; siblings, John “Jack” Lash, Dorothy (Terry) Garmon, Janet Wicker, Rita Lash, Debra (Michael) Lash-Sheridan; adopted brother, Mark Wrhel and many nieces and nephews.
Richard retired from driving a grain truck December 24, 2021.
He loved to fish and hunt. He really liked to spend time with his family, grandchildren and his best friend of 50 years, Mark Wrhel. He was of the Nazarene faith.
Cremation has been accorded and no services will be held.
Memorials may be made to his family.
