Obituary for Richard A. Swenhaugen
Richard A. Swenhaugen, 73, of Bartonville passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Farmington Country Manor.
He was born February 25, 1948, in Morris to Mayland and Gladys Peterson Swenhaugen.
He is survived by his children, Lauren Cagle, Reid (Merisa) Cagle and siblings, Roger Swenhaugen, Hakon Swenhaugen, and Amelia Swenhaugen.
Richard served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He owned Red Bird Vending Co. in Bloomington.
He loved talking to people. Richard enjoyed golfing and boating. He also enjoyed tractors; he grew up farming.
Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in his name.
