Obituary for Richard A. Dringenberg
Richard A. Dringenberg, 73, of Wheatland, MO formerly of Pekin, IL passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL.
He was born November 18, 1947 in Pekin to Harvey and Helen Georges Dringenberg. His parents and brother, Harvey Dean Dringenberg preceded him in death.
He married Rebecca “Becky” A. Cook July 20, 1988; she survives. He is also survived by his children, John (Karen) Dringenberg, Michelle (Jimmy) Terrell, Michael Travis, Kelly (James) Wilson, Brandon Dringenberg; fifteen grandchildren; two great-grandsons; siblings, Sandra Furey, David (Christy) Dringenberg, Jerry (Lillian) Dringenberg, Larry (Sunnie) Dringenberg, Barb Kramer, Chris (Jerry) Hackman, Deborah (Gary) Cartwright, Victoria (Mel) Canada and many nieces and nephews.
Richard served in the U.S. Army National Guard and worked at Caterpillar retiring in 1996.
He loved his family and everyone he met. He was always a servant. He was the President of the Board Water District PWSD #2, Vice President of the Galmey Fire Department, President of the Rendezvous Committee, on the Hickory County Health Department, Life Member of the American Legion, Life Member of Joseph Robbins Lodge #930 Free Masons and after retiring from Caterpillar and the Army Reserves, he became a Century 21 Real Estate Agent. He was much loved and will be missed.
Cremation has been accorded and services will be held at a later date.
