Obituary for Regina Gina M. Dobbelaire
Regina “Gina” M. Dobbelaire 38, of Marquette Heights passed away on Friday July 25, 2008 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Born in Peoria on August 9, 1969 to Frederick and Cecilia Mae Head Laurie. She married Kevin Dobbelaire on October 7, 1989; he survives along with her parents, daughter Courtney both of Marquette Heights, one sister and 2 nieces and 3 nephews. Her grandparents preceded her in death. Gina worked in ASTR and Schramm School for many years. She was a volleyball fan and loved to travel and gardening. A private family service was held and a Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society 651 W. Washington Blvd Suit 400 Chicago, IL 60661 or a education fund at Herget Bank for her daughter Courtney. Arrangements have been entrusted to Abts Mortuary.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday August 9, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Miller Center @ 551 S. 14th St. Pekin.
