Obituary for Raymond L. Mills
Raymond L. Mills, 86, of Creve Coeur passed away Sunday, May 15, 2022, at Pekin Manor.
He was born January 19, 1936, in Peoria to Lonnie and Bernice Plym Mills. His parents; sister, Janet L. Burrows; stepson, Tommy Jim Bohannan and stepdaughter, Rochelle Fisbeck preceded him in death.
He married Rosalie J. Barlow in May 1991; she survives. He is also survived by his children, Robin Shirley, Brenda Doering, Leanne Mills; stepchildren, Brenda Bohannan, Vickie Botello, Phyllis McGill, Rosie Bohannan; many grandchildren and siblings, Larry (Rosemary) Mills and Joyce (Chick) Hauk.
Raymond worked for Pabst Brewing retiring in 2001. He was a volunteer firefighter for Brimfield.
He enjoyed fishing, Sunday NASCAR and was an avid Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan. Most of all he enjoyed any reason to spend time with his family and friends.
Cremation has been accorded and a graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Brimfield Cemetery with a gathering following the service.
