Obituary for Raul Vargas
Raul Vargas, 57, of Galesburg passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born December 31, 1965, in Chicago to Roberto M. and Gregoria Coronado Vargas Sr. His father preceded him in death.
He is survived by his mother; siblings, Roberto Vargas Jr., Silvia Vargas, Jose Vargas; uncle of Cindy, Amaris, Gianni, Jalissa, Leilani, and great uncle of many.
Raul loved his family, nieces, and nephews. He was a Chicago Bears fan. He enjoyed music.
He was a special person who stands alone next to the rest. He always put his family first and always gives his best. He had a gentle way of treating everyone and had a quiet wisdom gained from all he’s seen and done.
Cremation has been accorded and services will be held at a later date.
