Obituary for Randy Mark Burnham
Randy Mark Burnham, 70, of Morton passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at UnityPoint Health Pekin.
He was born July 8, 1951, in Macomb to Max and Darlos Litchfield Burnham.
He married Diane Waldo; she preceded him in death. His grandparents, Florence and Frank McCants also preceded him in death.
He is survived by his sister, Lana Vandegenachte; cousin, Diane Elliot; daughters, Allison Burnham, Amanda Burnham and stepdaughter, Christine Rockhold.
Randy served in the U.S. Air Force and worked as a truck driver for UFS Holland retiring in December 2009. He was a member of the Teamsters Union #916. He started working as a Post Office employee in Iowa and Illinois before starting a career as a truck driver.
During his time off the road, he liked to fill his weekends spending quality time with his wife and daughters joking around, BBQing, and watching NASCAR. He and his wife rescued many pets over the years often remembering his favorites, Kirby, and Scarlet. After retiring in 2009 we could find him watching baseball, laughing at his favorite show, Big Bang Theory, or enjoying a cold one and a pizza with his daughters.
Cremation has been accorded and burial will be held at a later date.
