Ralph Donald Beam Jr. 77, of Morton formally of Minier passed away on August 9, 2008 at Pekin Manor. Born in Browning, IL on January 10, 1931 to Ralph and Katie Johnson Beam Sr. He married Faye Schneider in Minier on August 5, 1977, she survives along with sons; David (Annette) Beam of West Fargo, ND, Denis (Peggy) Beam of St. Louis, MO, Keith (Angela) Beam of Madison, WI, brothers; Terry (Barb) Beam of Creve Coeur and Dan (Donna) Beam of Tavares, FL. He is also survived by his five grandchildren. His parents and sister preceded him in death. Ralph served in the Army 11th Air Bourn during the Koran War stationed at Ft. Campbell, KY. He was a member of the American Legion in Morton and attended Eastside Bible Church at 1310 W. Jefferson, Morton where a memorial service will be held on Tuesday Aug 19, at 7 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service also at the church. Rev. Steve Weber will be conducting the service. Memorials may be made in Ralph’s name to the church. The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. is assisting the family with arrangements.
