Obituary for Phyllis Jean Webb Pryde
Phyllis Jean Webb Pryde, 98, of Peoria passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Independence Village Senior Living in Peoria.
She was born July 14, 1922 in Peoria to Ernest Webb and Adah Keeley.
She married Everett Hilton Pryde; he preceded her in death. Her parents also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughters, Laurie Pryde Shornick, Pamela Sue Pryde and one grandchild.
Phyllis was a graduate of Bradley University where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi. She was an interior designer and worked free-lance and at Marshall’s Furniture Store and Eppel Furniture Store.
She was a patron of the arts and a founding member of Corn Stock Theater. She was a long-time member of United Presbyterian Church, P.E.O., Illinois Art League and Peoria Poetry Club. She enjoyed watercolor painting, writing Haiku, and traveling.
Cremation has been accorded and no services will be held.
