Obituary for Phyllis Henry
Phyllis Elaine Henry, 87, of Peoria passed away Friday, November 7, 2014 at Heartland of Peoria. She was born January 15, 1927 in Knoxville, IA to Henry John and Ruth Daisy Perry Henry. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Shirley Henry Leo. She is survived by four children from her marriage to Jack Charles Troe: Marsha (Richard) Taylor of Peoria, Charles (Lisa) Troe of Las Vegas, Nevada, Nancy (Terry) Goff of Hanna City, Thomas (Bonnie) Troe of Peoria Heights; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and five nieces and nephews. Phyllis retired from the City of Peoria on February 1, 1989. Cremation has been accorded and a Memorial Service will be held Friday, November 14, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. with visitation one hour prior at Grace and Peace Lutheran Church in Peoria. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Peoria County Animal Protection Services (PCAPS) or Alzheimer’s Association. The family thanks the staff at Heartland for its care and support for Phyllis and her family.
