Obituary for Perry Frank Brickert
Perry Frank Brickert 88, of Washington passed away on Sunday June 14, 2009 at his residence. Born in Indianapolis IN on August 8, 1920 to Perry J. and Bertha Pheffer Brickert. His wife of 50 years Edith Hoop preceded him in death in 1994. His daughter Frankie Tomlinson, 2 brothers and 3 sisters also preceded him in death. He is survived by his step-daughter Patricia Purdy of Orion, IL, 11 grand, 7 great grand and 3 great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and his special great nieces and nephews; Richard, Roger, Becky, Roslind, Nancy and Ruth. Perry was a machinist for many years at Hyster Company in Peoria, loved to hunt and fish and was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in East Peoria 4101 E. Washington Rd. where a memorial service will be held on Saturday June 20, at 2 p.m. Elder Jerry Jacobsen will officiate. Memorials may be made to his church. The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. Pekin/Peoria is assisting the family with arrangements.
