Perry Arthur Cox, 53, of Peoria passed away Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Sharon Willows North in Peoria.
He was born October 28, 1967 in Pekin to Omer and Joanne Rife Cox. His parents preceded him in death.
He is survived by his sons, Jerry A. Cox, Thomas J. Cox; daughters, Amy Bodke, Laura Caldwell, Cassandra Caldwell, Michelle Caldwell; grandchildren, Nellie Jo Tassart, Aizley Scott; former wife, Tammy (Shannon) Schindler and brother, Andrew Cox.
Perry loved playing his bass guitar, rock music and going to concerts. He enjoyed smoking cigarettes and diet Mountain Dew. He was a big professional wrestling, Chicago Bulls and Chicago Cubs fan. He was a very open-minded individual who loved speaking his wisdom about how music is the sound of the soul. One major event in his life worth mentioning is, he survived an 80ft fall off a cliff when he was a young kid in 1978. He loved taking his children on trips. He was “Dad” to many.
Cremation has been accorded and services will be held at a later date.
