Obituary for Paul Thomas Worden
Paul Thomas Worden, 62, of Washington, IL, sadly left us on September 7, 2023 after battling cancer.
Paul was an amazing man to all who knew him and loved a life worth remembering. He was passionate about music and all things outdoors, especially fishing and football (Go Steelers)! He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Paul knew no stranger. He loved joking around and meaningful conversations. He was such a simple, good-hearted man that didn’t need much from life.
Paul was born on January 16, 1961 in Peoria, IL.
Surviving are his beloved Butterfly, Bethany Pankey; his children, Angela Tossell of Peoria, IL and Jacob (Katilin) Worden of Creve Coeur, IL.; four grandchildren, Mylah Worden, Mason Worden, Roman Worden, and Anna Tossell; and his brother, Mike (Tena) Worden.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Christina Worden, and his parents, David and Ester Worden, and his brother, Jim Worden.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Paul’s honor at The American Legion in Bartonville, IL on October 1st, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
