Obituary for Paul Janssen
Paul Janssen, 76, of Pekin passed away Wednesday May 9, 2012 at Timber Creek Rehab and Health Care in Pekin. He was born August 6, 1935 in Pekin to Rudy and Mildred Hamson Janssen. He married LaNan McGowan September 19, 1961 in Pekin. She survives along with son, Jay (Shelley) Janssen of Camden, SC; grandson, Ben Janssen and one sister. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers and one sister. Paul served in the U.S. Army and worked for Corn Products retiring in 1992. Cremation has been accorded and services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in his name.
