Obituary for Paul Folsom Jr.
Paul W. Folsom Jr., 68, of South Pekin passed away Monday, November 26, 2018 at Riverview in East Peoria. He was born March 2, 1950 in Jacksonville Beach, FL to Paul W. and Bertha Peters Folsom Sr. He married Sharon Black in 1967 in Pekin; she survives. He is also survived by his daughters, Gail (Jesse Peterman) Perino, Alice (Ronnie) Koonce; grandchildren, Christina Koonce, Monica Koonce, Scott Koonce, Tyler Perino, Lora Perino and six great-grandchildren. His parents; daughter, Dolores Folsom and son-in-law, B.J. Perino preceded him in death. Paul worked for Caterpillar until retiring in 1999. He loved working on cars, camping, fishing and in his spare time building bird houses. Most of all he loved spending time with his wife, daughters and grandchildren. Per his wishes cremation has been accorded and no services will be held.
