Obituary for Patty Jo Morgan
Patty Jo (Mann) Morgan, 82, born on February 21, 1938 in McLean County, Bloomington, resided in Pekin, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents Perry M. Mann and Da Niece (Martin) Mann. Patty Jo was raised by her maternal grandparents Clifford P. and Ila Martin on a farm in Danvers, Illinois.
Surviving are three children, Kathleen (Quinn) Dooley of Pekin, Kameron (Margie) Carver, of Pekin and Kimberly (Perry) Montgomery of Pekin. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren who were always in her thoughts and heart. Also, her best friend, Baby the rottweiler, who was spoiled like no other.
Patty Jo passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 3, 2020, at the farm of her daughter Kimberly (Perry) Montgomery, after a courageous and dignified battle of Pancreatic Cancer (the beast) with the best care a daughter can provide.
Patty Jo was last working at Cedar Street Storage, in East Peoria, which she fondly enjoyed. Previously she was a retired truck driver for Farm Supply.
The family wishes to thank those who have extended support for Patty Jo Morgan during her final days and Hospice Compassus for providing exceptional care, while serving with heartfelt compassion.
Services will be private for the family, as requested. Memorials can be made to TAPS and Good Shepherd Lutheran School, Pekin IL.
