Obituary for Patricia Althiser
Patricia M. Althiser, 78, of Canton passed away Friday, August 7, 2020 in Pekin.
She was born October 9, 1941 in Rock Island to James and Edna Yocum Fitch.
She married James C. Althiser June 28, 1959 in Canton; he preceded her in death November 22, 2012. She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Charles Fitch, Russell Fitch; sister, Neomia Watkins and nieces, Terri Bouc, Elaine Fitch Shores, Leigh Ann Fitch and Heather Fitch Watkins.
She is survived by her children, Marcus (Cindy) Althiser, Christine (Brian) Goodin, Kenneth Althiser, Jeremiah (Sara) Althiser; nine grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and siblings, Shirley (Matthew) Bouc, Mary (Dennis) Bankert and Judy (Robert) Moore.
Patricia loved camping, fishing, and gambling.
Cremation has been accorded and a graveside service for Patricia and her husband, James will be held at 12 noon on Friday, August 14, 2020 at Greenwood Cemetery in Canton with Military Honors. A Celebration of Life for Patricia will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at the American Legion in Canton.
