Obituary for Nicholas Vance
Nicholas Aaron Vance, 25, of Galesburg passed away Sunday, February 24, 2013 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born December 4, 1987 in Roanoke, VA. He is survived by his mother, Johna L. Andre of Galesburg; father, Shawn L. Vance of Peoria; brothers, Kevin L. Vance of Galesburg, Shane D. Vance of Peoria; nephew, Axel D. Vance; extended family, Kaylie Casey, Tyler Casey, Julia Rhods, Stephanie Rhods as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, LaVonne Teufel and John W. Poore. Nicholas worked at Landmark Café & Creperie in Galesburg. Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be held Wednesday, February, 27, 2013 from 5 to 8 p.m. at 156 EAST in Galesburg at 156 East Main Street Galesburg, IL. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to your local food pantry in his name.
