Obituary for Nancy Philips
Nancy Ann Philips, 88, passed away December 11, 2017 at OSF Hospital in Peoria, Illinois. Nancy was born October 7, 1929 in Cleveland, Ohio to Hugh and Julia Sullivan. Nancy was married to John Charles Philips for 66 years and had two sons, David Eric Philips and Daniel John (Kim) Philips. She had three granddaughters, Julia Grace Philips, Eleanor Jane Philips and Madeline Grace Philips.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, her son David, granddaughter Julia, and her best friend, Faye Senior. Nancy is survived by her husband, John, her brother Mike (Sue), her son, Dan (Kim), and her granddaughters Ele and Maddie.
In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to the Spina Bifida Association of Illinois c/o of Children’s Hospital of Illinois, 530 NE Glen Oak, Peoria, Il. 61637.
A memorial service will be Saturday December 16th at 1:00 pm at Evangelical United Methodist Church at 401 Walnut Street in Washington, Illinois with a time of fellowship to follow.
