Obituary for Monica Mae Propst
Monica Mae Propst, 70, of Washington, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2020 at 10:35 p.m. at Heddington Oaks in West Peoria.
Monica was born August 11, 1949 to Ronald and Helen Hinkle in Peoria, IL.
She married Larry W. Propst on March 20, 1969 in Peoria. Together they had celebrated 50 years of marriage.
Surviving are her children, Joseph (Tina) Propst of East Peoria and Chris Propst of East Peoria; three grandchildren, Sophia (Joseph and Tina) and Caeden and Levi (Chris); one sister, Rhonda Sample (Michael) of Peoria and one brother, Jim Hinkle (Karen) of Edelstein.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Larry W. Propst; daughter, Laurie A. Propst and brother, John C. Hinkle.
Monica was beloved to many as the big blonde-haired waitress with the
awesome personality, Monnie, at Davis Brothers Pizza in East Peoria. Those that knew her knew she loved her family and loved her Chicago Cubs! Monica will be
deeply missed!
Cremation has been accorded and a Celebration of Life will be determined at a later date.
