Obituary for Missy Crosswhite
Missy Kay Crosswhite, 50, of Morton passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born September 12, 1963 in Peoria to Robert DeArcos and Fannie Gunn. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Cindy Selke and nephews, J.R. Trapper and Robbie Crosswhite. She is survived by her step-father, Doug Ewe of Sunnyland; siblings, Jean (Ron) Hurt of Missouri, Robert (Paula) Crosswhite of Marquette Heights, Roger Crosswhite of Peoria, Tammy (Scott) Robinson of East Peoria, Lena (Chris) Trapper of East Peoria, Shelly (Dean) Goben of Danvers, Ken (Mary) Ewe of Washburn, Kristi Cannon of Michigan, Danielle (Jeremy) Tresenriter of Edwards; many nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Elvis. Missy worked for Mitsubishi. She had an infectious smile, quick wit, great sense of humor and a big heart. She enjoyed football, NASCAR, being involved with animal causes and spending time with her family and friends. Cremation has been accorded and a private family service will be held. Memorials may be made to TAPS in her name.
