Obituary for Miriam Fuller
Miriam Eileen Fuller, 91, affectionately known as "Mudsy", died on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Heddington Oaks in West Peoria. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Heddington Oaks for the many years of excellent and loving care given to Miriam.

She was born January 4, 1926 in Duluth, MN to Charles and Augusta Hill. In 1950 she married Arthur Fuller, who preceded her in death in 2012. She was also preceded in death by one son, Stephen Fuller, and by one grandchild, Anthony Winkle.

She is survived by daughters, Joan (Thomas) Winkle of Peoria, Gail (Wolfgang) Wiest of Berlin, Germany; son, Timothy Fuller of Rockford; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Miriam was a 1948 graduate of The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth. In 1949 she was certified as a Medical Technologist by the American Association of Clinical Radiologists. Family and friends quickly learned to never, ever refer to her as a "Medical Technician" or a "Med Tech". She was a Medical Technologist! She had a long and fulfilling career working in clinical laboratories in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, and New Mexico. She enjoyed a 62 year marriage with husband Arthur.

Miriam was a long time member of Salem Lutheran Church. In
retirement, she enjoyed family visits, crossword puzzles, and complaining about politicians.

Cremation has been accorded and a private family service will be at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be given to Salem Lutheran Church, 1700 War Memorial, Peoria, II. 61614, in her name.
