Obituary for Mildred L. Monterastelli
Mildred L. Monterastelli 92, of East Peoria formally of Peoria passed away on Monday September 29, 2008 at Graham Hospital in Canton. Born in Petersburg, IL on July 16, 1916 to Rayburn and Mary Ann Werle Clark. She married Eto Monterastelli in September of 1936, he preceded her in death in 1991, along with 3 brothers, 2 sisters and a grandson. Mildred is survived by her daughter Sandra (William) Delaney of Tampa, FL, sons; Jerry (Diane) Monterastelli of Trivoli, Thomas (Adelaide) Monterastelli of Boise, ID and her 4 grand and 4 great grandchildren. She was a homemaker and Bookkeeper for the family business and a Secretary for the board of trusties of Pleasant Valley Public Water District. Mildred was an active member of Hawett Street Christian Church now United Disciple Church, serving as a teacher, elder, secretary to the church board and participated in the CWF. Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be held at a later date. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Corn Stock Theatre or the American Cancer Society. The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. is assisting the family with arrangements.Â
