Obituary for Mildred Berry
Mildred L. Berry, 91, of Mapleton formerly of Lewistown passed away Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Unity Point Health Methodist in Peoria. She was born April 26, 1923 in Swan Creek, IL to Arthur and Effie Smith Carrico. She married Lyle D. Berry September 26, 1948 in Trinidad, CO. He preceded her in death April 26, 2005. She is survived by her son, Joe (Flo) Berry of Mapleton; grandchildren, Mark (Belinda) Berry of Pekin, Julie (Kyle) Campbell of Morton, Eric Barley of Pekin, Greg Barley of Sparks, MD; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mildred loved gardening, Hummingbirds and most of all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held Sunday, August 3, 2014 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., please contact the family for the location of the service. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, Salvation Army or charity of your choice in her name.
