Obituary for Michael Back
Michael Back, 85, of Farmington passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Graham Hospital in Canton. He was born September 18, 1932 in Ft. Covington, NY to Mitchell and Mary Beauvais Back. He married Virginia I. Ellis September 18, 1981 in Los Angeles, CA; she survives. He is also survived by his daughter, Kathleen Gast; sons, Edward Reidy, Glenn (Jeanette) Reidy; sister, Julia (George) Taddeo; special niece, Minnia (Dave) Curtis and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Cecelia Back and Margaret Place. Michael served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and was a wonderful and talented painter. He was a member of the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe, American Legion Post #206 in Los Angeles, CA and life member of the AMVETS. Cremation has been accorded and no services will be held.
