Obituary for MiChelle Michael
MiChelle L. Michael, 62, of Peoria passed away Monday, July 9, 2018 at UnityPoint Health Methodist in Peoria. She was born September 25, 1955 in Forks, WA to Dennis and Rosemary (Boots) Boostrom. Her twin grandchildren, Enrique Joseph and Angelina Rose preceded her in death. She is survived by her parents; daughter, Amanda (Rob) Baugous; son, Christopher (Alicia) Michael; grandchildren, Charlie Baugous, Sam Baugous, Christopher Michael Jr., Ethan Michael; siblings, Denise (Dave) Nelson, Patrice Morelli, Brent (Robi) Boostrom and many nieces and nephews.
A devout Christian, her faith in God provided guidance and comfort throughout her life. She was a thoughtful and caring person who enjoyed connecting with friends, encouraging her family, and doting on her grandchildren. Her children and grandchildren were a source of immense pride and she loved talking about them. She loved angels and sunflowers and purple hyacinths. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, playing board games, listening to Christian music, and attending the annual Christmas show at Northwoods with her family. She will be missed.
Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be held on Friday, August 10, 2018 at 4pm in the chapel at Northwoods Community Church (10700 N Allen Rd., Peoria). Family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. at the chapel.
In her memory, MiChelle requested that donations be made to two organizations that generously supported her in times of need: Rebuilding Together Peoria (rebuildingtogetherpeoriail.com) and the Northwoods Church Benevolence Team (northwoods.church).
