Obituary for Meranda Elizabeth Minter
Meranda Elizabeth Minter transitioned to be with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 26, 2021. Age 37 years. She was born July 31, 1984 in Columbia, Missouri to Richard W. Williams and Teanna Mae Snoddy. She was their only child. She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. She resided in Quincy, IL, then moved Hannibal, MO where she graduated from Hannibal High School in Hannibal, MO. Several years later is when she and her mother relocated to Peoria, IL. Meranda was also known to family and friends as “Mandy”. She and her mother, Teanna M. Snoddy, relocated to Peoria, IL. She also attended Cosmetology school in Peoria, IL. Meranda was gifted in so many areas of Beauty to include: Makeup Artistry; Hairstyles, and Nails. She was an amazing cook, and shared her gifts with family, friends, and others, too. Meranda, a single mother of three teenagers, whom she loved, nurtured, and raised them to be amazing children. She was so proud of them. Meranda, leaves us to cherish her most precious gifts from GOD, her three teenage children; Tanijah Carter (16), Devin Carter (15)and Tamia Carter (12); their father, Mr. Terrance Carter. She has one brother, Mr. Jeremy William of Maywood, IL. She is the Granddaughter of Mrs. Velma Williams residing Chicago, IL. Meranda will forever be the very special Neice of both Aunts; Michelle Williams-Wicks of Dallas, TX and Mary Snoddy-King of Peoria, Illinois, to include uncles, aunts, cousins, her sister-cousins, momma baby-best friends whom lives near and far. Plus, let us not forget the lives she touched so deeply from her amazing heart. Meranda Elizabeth Minter was preceded in death by her Paternal Father, Mr. Richard W. Williams; her Paternal Grandfather, Mr. Baris T. Williams; her Maternal Grandmother Mrs. Clara Mae (Chester J.) Jones of Edina, Knox, Missouri; and her Maternal Step-Father Mr. Virgil Lee Snoddy Sr.
