Obituary for Mary L. Reiman
Mary L. Reiman 71, of Farmington passed away on Thursday June 11, 2009 at Bel-wood Nursing Home in Peoria. Born in Spring Valley, IL on December 13, 1937 to Harry and Mary Tinker Helmer. She married Carl Albert Reiman in Mossville on December 14, 1973, he preceded her in death on March 6, 1992. Also preceding were her parents. Mary is survived by her children; James (Sue Mills) Cook, Kenneth Cook, Carl Cook and Curt Reima all of Peoria and Catherine King of Indianapolis, IN, brothers; Richard (Rose) Helmer and Gerald Helmer both of DePue and Norman (Mary Lou) Helmer of Ottawa. Her 3 grand and 5 great grandchildren also survive. Mary was the manager of the Senior Nutrition Center for the Y.W.C.A in Canton. She was a member of the Farmington United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir for many years. Cremation has been accorded. The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. Pekin/Peoria is assisting the family with arrangements.
