Obituary for Mary F. Jacobs
Mary F. Jacobs, 75, of Creve Coeur passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 in Peoria. She was born in Bradford, IL to Roy and Bernice Cade Cantwell on January 27, 1942. She married David L. Jacobs in Peoria on October 9, 1976; he survives. Also surviving are her children, Arnie Lisk, Jorgi Lisk-Naples, Amy Lisk-Vega, Tina (Larry) Fergusson, Laura (Kenneth) Tazelaar, and Barbara Jacobs; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 5 sisters; 3 brothers and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, John and Jeff Cantwell. Mary worked as a Bookkeeper for S. Harris Uniforms; retiring in 1990. She was a member of the Walking or Wheeling Club “WOW” Club and a former EMT and Trustee for American Ice Fire Department. She loved sewing, jigsaw puzzles, gardening and especially loved her grandchildren and family. Mary was also a member of Maxwell Road Church of God 905 S. Maxwell Rd, Peoria, IL 61607 where a Celebration of Life Service will be held from noon to 2 p.m. on Sunday July 2, 2017.
