Obituary for Marvin "Tiny" Dale Tiller
Marvin “Tiny” Dale Tiller, 78, of Pekin passed away Thursday, March 7, 2024, at his residence.
He was born February 23, 1946, in Pekin to James Lee and Osie Thelma Workman Tiller. His parents and siblings, James E. Tiller, Paulene Phelps, Melvin Tiller, Nancy Wiegle, and Joyce Yelton preceded him in death.
He married Karen D. Peterson January 28, 1967, in Morton; she survives. He is also survived by his children, Kim Davis, Mark Tiller and grandchildren, Luke Tiller, and Aubrey Tiller.
Marvin worked for Caterpillar, retiring in August 1998.
He loved his family. He also loved horses, dogs, cats, street rods, cars, and auctions, buying and selling his whole life. He attended Faith Christian Center in Washington, was a member of the Morton Jaycees and was a Union representative.
Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held on May 11, 2024, from Noon to 5 p.m. at 19802 Bennett Road, Pekin, Illinois.
