Marilyn J. Hoerr, 78, of Peoria passed away Monday, October 10, 2022, in Hanna City with her family around her.
She was born May 21, 1944, in Bartonville to Harry T. and Leona M. Fields Huxtable.
She married Eldon G. “Bun” Hoerr November 25, 1961, in Peoria; he preceded her in death March 6, 2021. Her parents; son, Todd Hoerr; grandson, Adam Layton and siblings, Carol (Sam) Wantling, Harry Thomas Huxtable Jr., Michael L. Huxtable and Sandra Huxtable also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children, Margaret (late, Rudy) Finkral, Ted Hoerr, Wendy (Richard) Layton, Jerry (Julie) Hoerr, Jennifer (Steve) Wilson; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Patricia (late, Thomas) Miller and sister-in-law, Janie Huxtable.
Marilyn worked as a flower designer for many years retiring in 2005.
She loved her family, grandchildren, and the Lord. She loved her flowers, arranging them, gardening, Bingo, and Cardinal birds.
Cremation has been accorded and private family services will be held.
Memorials may be made to OSF Hospice in her name.
