Obituary for Margaret Berkshier
Margaret M. Schoon Berkshier 83, of Bartonville, IL passed away Friday September 30, 2011 at Proctor Hospital in Peoria, IL. She was born July 23, 1928 in Peoria, IL to George H. and Alice K. Wall Schoon. She married James P. Berkshier, he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents and son, George Vandergriff. She is survived by her son, Jake (Chris) Vandergriff of Bartonville, IL, sister, Janice Bierwirth of Bartonville, IL, grandchildren, Tomi and Katheryn Vandergriff, Michelle Genoriese, 4 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. She worked for National Garages for 28 years and was a member of the Bartonville Untited Methodist Church in Bartonville, IL where a Celebration of Life will be held Saturday November 5, 2011 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to her church or St. Jude.
