Obituary for Marcus Comer Sr.
Marcus L. Comer Sr., 67, of Peoria passed away Friday, November 8, 2019 at his residence. He was born April 28, 1952 in Peoria to Helen Caldwell and Gilbert Comer Sr. His parents; daughter, Marchell Comer and siblings, Arthur Comer, Charles Haywood and Shelia Comer preceded him in death. He is survived by his family, Ella Comer, Chauncey Haywood, Gilbert Comer Jr., Mildret Comer, Barb Johnson, Marcus Comer Jr., Neisha Comer, Reggie Campbell, Erica Johnson, Marquez Comer, Marcus Comer III, Shyla Comer, Marquies Morrow, Aries Morrow; a host of great-grandkids, cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Marcus worked for Caterpillar retiring April 28, 2017. He loved hard, he worked hard, and he fought hard. “We love you.” Cremation has been accorded and services will be held at a later date.
