Obituary for Lyle Rauch
Lyle Ray Rauch 70, of Delavan passed away Friday September 30, 2011 at his residence. He was born October 15, 1940 in Topeka, IL to Ralph and Iva Hainline Rauch. He married Arlene L. Reznick in Cicero, IL on April 2, 1966. She survives along with his daughters, Shari (Harold) Alford of Hopedale, IL and Kim Rauch of Delavan, IL. He is also survived by his sister, Della (Burl) Hensley of Pekin, IL, brother, Cecil (Arlene) Rauch of South Carolina and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Mattie Mont and brothers, Caleb Rauch, Leslie Rauch and Robert Rauch. Lyle served in the U.S. Navy and the IL National Guard. He worked for R.E. Common at Equipment in Peoria, IL, it changed hands and moved to Morton, IL, and was called Equipment Depot were he worked for 32 years, until he retired in 2006. He loved to restore old automobiles and riding his motorcycle. He was an avid fisherman. He used to be very active in CB Radios. Lyle was a devoted husband, loving father, and brother. He will be missed dearly. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society in his name. Cremation has been accorded and no services will be held.
